Are You Ready For The Beach?
Which way is the beach? I’m trying to show off all my hard work. I’m feeling good. Been hitting the bench and my Pump is on point. I’m trying to meet someone tonight. I’m feeling sexy. What’s the dress code? Can I enter with no shirt? Fuck a bathing suit, I hate tan lines.
Sound Familiar?
It’s natural to have thoughts like this when you have been sticking to your plan to get your body ready for the summer. The closer you get to June the more real it becomes. That Hard Work Pays Off. Whether you put the work in, or you didn’t, you are starting to feel the truth of that statement.

Today’s workout is called Beach Muscles. When I think of beach muscles or beach bodies for both sexess, two things come to mind. People who want quick gains and the “Haters”, lol. Some people think that the Fitness Fanatic in the gym posing in front of the mirror is self-centered and not actually strong cause it’s all just for show. Some think that low body fat and bulging muscles are all genetics, so why bother trying to look better. I say “Do what makes you happy, work for what you want.”

Don’t Judge, because you don’t know.
It’s easy to say that vain people are shallow or egotistical, but we don’t really get anywhere with divisive insults. Another way to look at it is that they are very focused - Focused on themselves or focused on their looks. Doesn’t matter because either way, they are cultivating their ability to focus on something. If they nurture and strengthen that ability, then they could easily apply it to something else down the road.
Eventually that person will change or get bored with focusing only on their appearance. Usually that will happen when they get whatever it is they believe they deserve for all the work and investment they are putting into their “good looks”. By their logic, they must be doing it for something, and once they achieve it or fail repeatedly at the aspiration, naturally they will begin to wonder, what else is out there in this great big world. I believe that is when the real growth happens.
Nah man, I’m Real!
I would like to invite everyone to try something new. Not because you think it is better than what you are currently doing, but because your central Nervous System CNS will thank you for it. As the days turn into months, just keep your eyes open for things that catch your attention. Like a new workout program or a new instructor. If there is no unmanageable threat, then see where that road leads you. If you like the neighborhood, consider staying for dinner, or maybe coming back for a visit. Whatever you do, don’t get stuck in a box or a limited viewpoint of your potential.

But don’t worry. Every day is an opportunity. What will today hold for you? All we truly have is today, so find something that you can do today, or even right now to express yourself or your desires.
